Philips Mouse SPM7800 and SPM6910
2009 / 2010

Two exemplary models of the Philips range of input devices. The SPM7800 is a wireless mouse equipped with an additional control feature: Instead of a scroll wheel this device uses a 360° touch control sensor for easy and comfortable scrolling in all directions. When no desktop surface is available, the touch sensor can be switched to mouse pointer motion control. An inviting and clean form language sets the product apart from predominantly aggressive-looking competitor products.


Philips FullControl Presenter SNP6000

In addition to the standard presenter function, this product also offers intuitive control over the mouse pointer. Via gesture control (tilting the device) the mouse pointer can be moved in all directions across the screen. In this way the presenter can also be used to share web content, interactive material or applications within a presentation. Rounded surfaces with tactile control elements provide a reassuring and comfortable user experience. Grip area and control elements are visually separated by color lending the product its unique and elegant character.




Philips Notebook CushionSpeaker SDC5100
2009

The basic idea behind this innovative and award-winning product is making notebook usage a more pleasant and comfortable experience. On the sofa, in bed or anywhere else besides the desk – the notebook computer sits firmly on the anti-slip surface of the CushionSpeaker. A soft fabric-covered cushion lifts up the notebook for a more relaxed and ergonomic body posture and shields the user‘s lap from the computer‘s heat. A retractable USB cord connects to the notebook and powers the build-in stereo speakers inside the device.




Philips Notebook Sleeve SLE3000 Series 
2009

A notebook sleeve with an attractive and innovative appearance, which can be used as a portable desktop for on-the-go computing. The patented HeatProtect construction, based on formed EVA hard foam with an aluminum foil underneath, protects the notebook as well as the user’s lap from overheating. The design showcases this technology through a window revealing the aluminum foil that becomes a unique visual focal point. Rubberized surface details prevent the notebook from sliding and visually hint the lap-desk use case.




Philips Notebook Hard Case SLE5000
2010

The notebook hard case SLE5000 doubles as a desktop when on-the go. Its tapered body shape and rigid surface let the user place the notebook safely on the lap and assume a more upright posture preventing neck strain. While maintaining a slim overall appearance the tapered body creates enough space for all necessary accessories. The distinct form factor, detailing and combination of materials make the product stand out from conventional notebook bags.



Philips SPA4210 notebook speaker
2009

This speaker set was designed as an ideal companion for notebooks or netbooks: Producing great sound yet void of any batteries, the set merely requires a USB-cable connection to the computer. A magnetic clip, a retractable cable connection between both speakers and smart cable management turn the speaker set effortlessly into a fun-looking, protected and compact capsule that easily fits into any bag.


Philips Multimedia Desktop Speakers SPA2201/ 2210/ 3210/ 7210
2008-2009

The objectives behind the design of this 2.0 channel speaker range were strong visual differentiation from competition and explicit visual sound expression. Except the entry-level model all speaker sets were designed with an integrated cable-management solution that keeps the desk tidy and uncluttered.
Philips Multimedia desktop speakers SPA4320/ 2380 and SPA7360/ 4310/ 2360
2009-2012

Desktop 2.1 channel loudspeaker at different performance levels and price-points. Both sub- woofer and satellite speakers were designed to visually express high audio quality but also to blend in with the home interior.



Philips universal notebook power adapters SPJ5100/ SPJ7100
2009/2010

Exchangeable connectors and automatic voltage adjustment make this product compatible with almost any notebook. Its compact and self-contained design makes it an ideal travel companion. More than three meters of total cable length are stored inside the product. AC- and DC-cables are wound-up separately inside the device making it possible to adjust the length of each cable individually avoiding undesired clutter. The rubber gasket for managing the cables also serves as a protective element and gives the product its unique appearance. Once the cables are coiled-up the connectors are clipped onto the cable storage separator which adds a striking color accent to the product.
